The Graduate Handbook is prepared by the Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences (ESBE), the graduate school to which the Department’s M.A. and Ph.D. programs are affiliated. It brings together, in a single document, the practical information graduate students need throughout their time at Bilkent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The handbook covers three areas: getting started (arrival, registration documents, residence permits for international students, and transportation), academics (course registration, advising, qualifying exams, thesis monitoring committees, thesis formatting and submission, funding opportunities, and library services), and life on campus and in Ankara (health services, housing, sports facilities, and daily life).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students are encouraged to consult the handbook before contacting ESBE or the Department with administrative questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
