The MA Program in Political Science aims to equip students with the knowledge and research skills necessary for research careers at academic institutions as well as research-intensive careers in the public sector, private sector, and civil society organizations. The standard MA curriculum commences with a full year of coursework. These courses aim to equip students with substantive knowledge in the discipline of Political Science as anchored in the Social Sciences and diverse methodological skills. Upon successfully completing, students begin to work on their theses. All candidates for the MA in Political Science must complete their degree in three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When writing their theses, students receive individual attention from their supervisors. We evaluate applicants based on their research interests and curiosities, communication skills, and academic preparation, as evident in ALES\/GRE scores, writing samples, transcripts, and letters of recommendation.
